The 6-month Trailblazers DTS experience is split into two unique terms; Lecture Term and Outreach Term.
During Lecture Term passionate and insightful lecturers will bring Biblically-based teaching on who God is, who you are, and how to live your calling. We’ll also engage in worship and prayer, 1-on-1 mentorship, group processing, exploration, and outreach across Niagara Falls. Our emphasis is on personal transformation, not just head knowledge.
Outreach Term focuses on answering the call of the Great Commission, activating the knowledge you gained and the gifts you discovered in a cross-cultural context. You and your outreach team will lead various projects that bring the Gospel to people in a way they understand, providing care and justice to the isolated and forgotten.
Lecture Term takes place in a large house near the world-famous Niagara Falls. Outreach Term locations are yet to be announced, and could be anywhere!
From Niagara Falls to the nations, DTS is a challenging and powerful experience of seeing people encounter Christ.
SEP 24 2026 – MAR 06 2027
Begin with 12 week in-class Lecture Term and local outreach, immediately followed by a 9 week Outreach Term in cross-cultural locations, and conclude with 1 final debrief week back in Niagara Falls.
LECTURE TERM: $5220 CAD
OUTREACH TERM: $5500 – 6500 CAD
APP FEE: $60 CAD
Includes tuition, course materials, all meals, accommodations, travel, ministry expenses, and some adventure activities.

Trailblazers DTS includes a Track experience to further develop your passion or skill and discover how to use it for missions, during Lecture Term.

Read the entire New Testament over coffee and learn how to study it inductively, or grow your music skills & learn to use your passion to reach people with the love of Jesus. Discover your Track and then select it in your DTS Application.
END BIBLE POVERTY
Unpack the entire New Testament together and lead people to engage with the Word in new ways through the Bible Track.
IN SPIRIT & TRUTH
Discover worship in Spirit and Truth, and lead people into exciting praise to the Lord through the Worship Track.
In Trailblazers DTS, everything centres around Jesus’ call to know God and make Him known. This is why we always pair in-class biblical training with in-the-field mission experience. Trailblazers DTS aligns with global standards and curriculum regulated by YWAM’s UofN. You will grow alongside your team of passionate Jesus followers and discover who God is, who you are in Him, and how to live your calling.
Our modular approach to education focuses on personal application over head knowledge. Students benefit from the deep investment of guest lecturers who come for one or more weeks to teach in their area of expertise.
